Big Bully

The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly." - John Rohn

For the longest time, I wanted to speak up. I wanted to speak my mind BUT I didn't. For too many times, I'd turn the other way just to keep the peace. Everyone else does the same thing too - afraid of what you might can will do. But sometimes, enough is enough. You're a big bully. Somebody has got to stand up to you. Somebody has got to let you know that you're wrong. The thing with bullies is they have inflated egos that need constant stroking. If you play along then how will they ever learn? It's as if you're encouraging them to self-destruct. Worse, they'll eventually meet their match who'll be just as much of a bully as they are. For sure, that's NOT going to end good. Thank God I'm not a bully. Nice boys and girls definitely finish first. Success is much sweeter because you can go to sleep at night knowing that you did not HURT or DISRESPECT or STEP ON OTHERS in any way.

Note: Hurting or doing wrong to others and being sorry about it after is a good thing. However, your SORRY means nothing and it loses its sincerity if you keep on doing the same thing again...and again...and again. I tell ya, it's not a good cycle to be stuck in. You have to be strong to either (1) stand up and be heard or (2) get out and to not take part in any of it anymore.
